Winner: American Book Fest 2024 Best Book Award Finalist
Seeking Fairness at Work is among titles included among the American Book Fest finalists of THE 21st ANNUAL BEST BOOK AWARDS, one of the world’s largest international book award programs for mainstream, indie, and self-published titles.
Jeffrey Keen, President and CEO of American Book Fest, said this year’s contest yielded thousands of entries from authors and publishers around the world, which were then narrowed down to the final results.
Keen says of the awards, “Over our 21-year history, thousands of self-published and indie authors have leveraged the promotional power of their Best Book Award to increase online recognition, enhance their title’s credibility, and garner more attention in the crowded book buying marketplace.”
Seeking Fairness at Work was named a finalist in the award category of Business: Management & Leadership.
Winner: NYC Big Book Award Distinguished Favorite
The NYC Big Book Award recognized Seeking Fairness at Work in the category of Business – General as a Distinguished Favorite.
The competition is judged by experts from different aspects of the book industry, including publishers, writers, editors, designers, booksellers, librarians and professional copywriters. Winners and distinguished favorites are based on overall excellence.
NYC Big Book Award received book submissions worldwide. Journalists, well established authors, small and large press, and first time indie authors participated in record numbers. Entries this year were received from the United States as well as countries such as Australia, Canada, China, Cyprus, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. Cities represented included Asheville, Beijing, Colorado Springs, Dublin, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Singapore, Tel Aviv, and Vancouver were among the entries.
Publishers included Atmosphere Press, Berrett-Koehler Publishers, Beaufort Books, Beyond Words Publishing, Blackstone Publishing, Familius Publishing, Flatiron Books, Hachette Go, HarperCollins Leadership, Oceanview Publishing, Old Stone Press, Rowman & Littlefield, Simon & Schuster, Ulysses Press, Watkins Publishing, Westminster John Knox Press to name a few.

Winner: Nonfiction Authors Association Silver Book Award
Seeking Fairness at Work receives the Silver Book Award from the Nonfiction Authors Association.
The Nonfiction Authors Association has served writers since 2010.
The Nonfiction Authors Association does not judge books against competing titles, but rather based on a scoring system that evaluates the quality of the writing and production of the book (editing, design, and other details).
